Bungie promises “zero tolerance” for Marathon cheaters with new reporting tools

Bungie says it has zero tolerance for cheating and toxicity in Marathon, and is rolling out stronger detection, reporting, and moderation tools.

The changes are meant to protect competitive fairness and player trust, directly addressing concerns about the game’s competitive integrity.

Update 1.0.5.3 also nerfs knife combat and adjusts the Bubble Shield to curb overpowered strategies and keep matches healthier.
