Apple’s reported ‘HomePad’ may launch as early as October

Bloomberg says Apple could unveil a rumored 7-inch smart home hub, possibly called HomePad, as soon as October.

The device is expected to run a tvOS-based interface and include upgraded Siri, video chat, intercom, and security controls.

Apple is also said to be preparing a security camera, a new Apple TV, and a refreshed HomePod mini.

The timing appears tied to Siri improvements and iOS 27, signaling a deeper push into the smart home market against Amazon and Google.
