Notion launched a new developer platform for building AI agents, external data connections, and workflow automation inside its workspace.

Notion CLI and Workers are now in public beta, while the External Agent API is available via a waitlist.

The platform adds enterprise controls like permissions, sandboxing, and admin governance for safer agent use.

Notion also highlighted Jira integrations and agent-driven task handling, positioning itself as an AI operating layer for teams.
