iPhone driver’s license looks set to roll out to a 15th US state

Apple’s iPhone Wallet driver’s license feature appears poised to expand to Oklahoma.

If added, Oklahoma would become the 15th U.S. state to support digital IDs in Wallet.

The feature launched in 2021 and is already available in 14 states plus Puerto Rico.

It lets users store a driver’s license or state ID on iPhone for age checks and some TSA checkpoints.

The rollout offers a more privacy-preserving way to verify identity without relying on a physical card.
