Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22, 2026.

The new book-style foldable is shorter and wider, making the cover screen easier to use one-handed and reducing black bars on the inner display.

It starts at $1,899.99 in the US and goes on sale August 7, 2026.

The redesign aims to fix long-running usability complaints and intensify competition in the high-end foldable market.
