Hyundai recalls 421,000 cars for software bug: See the full list

Hyundai is recalling more than 421,000 vehicles over a front-camera software bug that could trigger false automatic braking.

The issue affects 2025-2026 Santa Cruz and Tucson models, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.

Owner notices are expected by July 17, and drivers can check the NHTSA database with a VIN or license plate.

Affected vehicles will receive a software update at a Hyundai dealer; the broader recall list also includes some Elantra Hybrid, Ioniq 5, and Ioniq 9 models.
