Pony.ai Unveils Next-Gen Autonomous Driving Domain Controller Built on NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion

Pony.ai and NVIDIA introduced a next-generation autonomous driving domain controller built on DRIVE Hyperion and DRIVE AGX Thor with NVLink.

The platform is designed for higher compute performance, better energy efficiency, and broader support for L4 autonomous driving.

It offers flexible configurations to fit different vehicle platforms and cooling requirements.

Pony.ai said the new controller will help scale fully driverless operations and Robotaxi deployment.

The launch builds on Pony.ai’s earlier DRIVE Orin-based controllers and expanding domain controller shipments.
