Google launches Veo 3.1 Lite at half price of Veo 3.1 Fast

Google launched Veo 3.1 Lite and began rollout on March 31, 2026.

Veo 3.1 Lite is available via the paid Gemini API and Google AI Studio and supports Text-to-Video and Image-to-Video.

The model outputs 720p and 1080p videos in 16:9 and 9:16 and offers 4, 6, or 8 second durations.

Veo 3.1 Lite is priced at less than half the cost of Veo 3.1 Fast, and Veo 3.1 Fast price will drop on April 7, 2026.
