Counter-UAS, long-range strike, integrated air defense weapons set to be advanced with new deal

Thales and Destinus signed a strategic deal to co-develop counter-drone, long-range strike, and integrated air defense capabilities.

The partnership includes joint work on Hornet interceptors, radar integration, and related manufacturing.

The move could accelerate Europe’s ability to field scalable, interoperable defenses against drones and other aerial threats.

It also aims to strengthen domestic defense industrial capacity for European and NATO forces.
