Alibaba Releases Qwen3.6-Max-Preview

Alibaba has launched Qwen3.6-Max-Preview, the newest flagship model in its Qwen family.

The model reportedly outperforms Qwen3.6-Plus in agentic coding, world knowledge, and instruction following.

The Qwen3.6 lineup now includes three closed-source models and one open-source model under the Qwen brand.

The release strengthens Alibaba’s push to improve enterprise AI, coding, and agent workflows in a competitive market.
