“Meccha Chameleon” Official Discord Hijacked; Staff Member’s PC Infected with Malware, All Administrators Banned — Service Now Restored

The official Discord for hit game Meccha Chameleon was hijacked after a malware-infected custom map compromised a developer test PC.

Attackers used the infected machine to bypass two-factor authentication, seize admin access, and spread false claims in the server.

The game itself was not affected, but the community platform was taken over until staff restored the server and banned the attackers.

The incident highlights how a mod-related security flaw can escalate into a full Discord takeover.
