Hands-on: Steelseries lowers its own entry for Hi-Res gaming audio with new near-premium headset

Steelseries unveiled the $399 Arctis Nova Pro Omni as a more affordable alternative to the $600 Nova Elite.

The new headset keeps many premium features, including removable batteries, a charging base, and multi-console USB-C support.

It still delivers hi-res wireless audio at 96kHz/24-bit, though with more plastic and slightly less premium materials and sound.

The launch gives gamers a lower-cost way to get cross-platform high-end audio without paying flagship pricing.
