Mistral AI borrows $830 million to operate a new data center near Paris

Mistral AI borrowed $830 million to fund a new data center near Paris in Bruyères-le-Châtel.

The facility will house 13,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB300 GPUs and provide 44 megawatts of capacity.

A consortium of global banks backed the loan and the deal does not require Mistral to give up equity.

Mistral aims to reach 200 megawatts of computing capacity across Europe by the end of 2027.
