Google to Launch New AI Audio Glasses This Fall, with Gemini for Navigation, Translation, and Tasks

Google previewed its AI audio glasses at I/O, with the first model slated for late 2026.

Built with partners like Samsung, Gentle Monster, and Warby Parker, the glasses can be voice- or touch-controlled.

Using Gemini, they can handle navigation, translation, calls, messages, photos, video, and tasks like ordering food or requesting rides.

The launch extends Google’s AI assistant into a hands-free wearable form factor for everyday use.
