Instagram's New Instants Feature Is Annoying. Here's How to Turn It Off

Instagram has launched Instants, a new way to send casual disappearing photos to close friends or mutual followers in DMs or a separate app.

If the feature feels intrusive, users can hide Instants in Content Preferences or temporarily dismiss it from the DM inbox.

Instagram also lets users undo or delete a photo after it’s been sent by mistake.

The update adds another ephemeral sharing option, but it may also add clutter for people who prefer a cleaner inbox.
