Japan entertainment giant Toei is forming its own gaming division

Toei Company has launched a new game division, Toei Games.

Its first projects will be original IP titles, developed for PC first and released on Steam.

The company plans to expand those games to home consoles later.

The move reflects Toei’s push to monetize IP and broaden beyond film and TV into gaming.
