YouTube is testing an experimental “Ask YouTube” AI search feature.

It answers queries with a mix of text, short clips, and longer videos, and supports follow-up questions.

The test is limited to U.S. YouTube Premium subscribers aged 18 and older.

If expanded, it could make video discovery more conversational and useful for learning or planning tasks.
