‘Shortcuts Playground’ lets you create shortcuts using natural language

Federico Viticci of MacStories released Shortcuts Playground, a free open-source plugin for Claude Code and Codex.

The tool generates validated Apple Shortcuts from natural-language prompts, making automation creation much easier.

A companion shortcut-based version is also available for Club MacStories members.

The launch lowers the barrier for Apple users to build custom automations without scripting.
