Another Far Cry Game Is In The Works

Ubisoft has reportedly approved a new Far Cry project, codenamed Kodiak, at Vantage Studios.

Kodiak is described as a large open-world FPS, and some work from the canceled Maverick project will be reused.

Maverick, a separate Far Cry project, was canceled, with that development effort partially folded into Kodiak.

Ubisoft is also still developing Blackbird, the mainline Far Cry title believed to be Far Cry 7.
