Nvidia market share in China falls below 60% as Chinese firms deliver 1.65M AI GPUs

Chinese chip makers supplied 1.65 million AI GPUs of 4 million units in 2025, capturing 41% of the domestic market.

Nvidia still led China’s AI GPU market with about 55% share, shipping roughly 2.2 million cards in 2025.

Huawei shipped around 812,000 units and T-Head, AMD, Kunlunxin and Cambricon also reported notable shipments.

U.S. export controls on advanced Nvidia and AMD chips changed multiple times in 2025, affecting supply to China.
