IrisGo, a startup backed by Andrew Ng, looks to become the AI desktop buddy you never knew you needed

IrisGo raised a $2.8 million seed round led by Andrew Ng’s AI Fund.

The startup launched beta desktop apps for Mac and Windows that automate repetitive office tasks.

Its hybrid AI system learns user workflows on device, with optional cloud processing for harder tasks.

IrisGo is also pursuing preinstall deals, including with Acer, to reach more laptops and office users.
