The next evolution of the Agents SDK

OpenAI updated the Agents SDK with a stronger model-native harness for working across files and tools.

The release adds native sandbox execution, configurable memory, and standardized integrations like MCP, skills, AGENTS.md, shell, and apply_patch.

A new Manifest abstraction plus support for multiple sandbox and storage providers make agent environments more portable and secure.

The update reduces infrastructure work and makes it easier to move agent apps from prototype to production.
