Edge browser on mobile gets a huge upgrade that makes it a worthy pick over Chrome

Microsoft rolled out a major Edge update for desktop and mobile, with new Copilot features on mobile.

Copilot can reason across selected or all open tabs, compare pages, and help summarize browsing history through Journeys.

The update also adds Voice and Vision tools plus a redesigned new tab page for a more AI-first browsing experience.

The move strengthens Edge against Chrome on smartphones ahead of Google’s next Gemini-powered browser update.
