A Broken Sword movie adaptation is coming from the studio behind Sonic the Hedgehog

Story Kitchen, the studio behind the Sonic the Hedgehog films, is developing a Broken Sword movie.

The film will be based on the 1996 game The Shadow of the Templars and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos.

Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil, Noirin Carmody, and Revolution Software are attached as producers.

No release date has been announced yet, but the project adds another classic game franchise to Hollywood’s adaptation pipeline.
