Gemini in Google Home just got a lot faster and smarter

Google is updating Google Home so Gemini answers common smart-home commands faster and with better context from saved Ask Home details.

The rollout adds feedback buttons on smart displays and improves performance for camera queries, Home Brief, and other everyday interactions.

Google Home setup is getting simpler with a QR-based flow, while iPhone users can now manage supported third-party thermostats and air conditioners.

The update also brings minor thermostat UI and scheduling improvements as Google expands Early Access features across the Home app.
