Pentagon’s Google Gemini agent designer spawns 103,000 AI tools in five weeks

Pentagon personnel have built more than 103,000 semi-autonomous AI tools on the GenAI.mil platform in under five weeks.

The Google Gemini-powered system has recorded over 1.1 million agent sessions since launch, showing rapid adoption across Defense Department workflows.

The rollout highlights how quickly generative AI is being embedded in U.S. defense operations.
