Apple has three new smart home products ‘nearly ready to launch,’ per report

Bloomberg says Apple is nearing launch of refreshed Apple TV and HomePod mini models, plus a new smart home hub.

The hub is expected to feature a 7-inch display, a new tvOS-based OS, FaceTime, HomeKit support, and facial recognition.

It could debut between October and early next year, with two design variants reportedly in development.

Apple is also said to be working on a future 9-inch robotic home hub and an in-home security camera.

Together, the products would broaden Apple’s smart home lineup and deepen its AI-driven push around Siri and personalized home interfaces.
