An Upcoming MLS Match on Apple TV Will Be Shot Entirely on the iPhone 17 Pro

Apple says Saturday’s Apple TV stream of LA Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo FC will be shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro cameras.

The phones will be placed around Dignity Health Sports Park to capture warmups, introductions, goal angles, and crowd shots.

Apple has previously used iPhones for limited live segments in baseball broadcasts, then expanded their use across sports production.

The match marks a first for a full live professional sports broadcast filmed entirely on a smartphone.
