Mac Mini and Mac Studio Facing Extreme Shipping Delays Amid Severe RAM Shortage

Apple's U.S. online store shows extended delivery estimates for Mac mini and Mac Studio models with increased RAM.

High-end configurations such as a Mac mini M4 Pro with 64GB and a Mac Studio M3 Ultra with 256GB show shipping delays of roughly 16–18 weeks and 4–5 months respectively.

Apple removed the Mac Studio 512GB RAM option last month and even base Mac mini models show around a one-month delay.

The delays are linked to a global memory chip shortage driven by rising demand from companies building AI servers, and prices remain above historical averages.
