Tesla is rolling out its Robotaxi service to Dallas and Houston

Tesla announced Robotaxi service areas in parts of Dallas and Houston, extending its autonomous ride-hailing rollout beyond Austin.

The move broadens Tesla’s footprint in Texas and intensifies direct competition with Waymo in overlapping markets.

Tesla did not say whether in-car safety monitors will be used in the new markets.

The company also signaled future expansion into California, but regulatory readiness remains an open question.
