Google just canceled its AI Studio mobile app, and it’s not all bad news

Google has canceled the planned Android and iPhone versions of its AI Studio mobile app.

Despite about 800,000 preorders, many app-building tools will be moved into the Gemini app.

The web version of AI Studio will remain supported, keeping it available for more serious building work.

The move shows Google is consolidating its mobile AI development tools around Gemini.
