Leadership change despite record performance... Hanwha Semitec brings back the group's strategy expert

Hanwha Group named Hanwha Vision CEO Kim Ki-cheol as head of Hanwha Semitech, creating a dual-role structure across both companies.

Kim Jae-hyun was replaced after about nine months, unifying the command structure of Hanwha Vision and Hanwha Semitech.

The move is seen as part of stabilizing the newly launched Tech & Life holding unit led by Kim Dong-sun and strengthening group-wide coordination.

Hanwha Semitech posted a record quarterly result in Q2, with revenue of KRW 147.7 billion and operating profit of KRW 14 billion.

With the leadership change coming amid strong performance, continuity in semiconductor equipment development and customer expansion will be key.
