BMW bumps the 7 Series for 2027, adds all-new battery

BMW is refreshing the 7 Series for 2027 with an updated i7 lineup built around a new battery.

The EV range will include 50 xDrive and 60 xDrive trims, while gasoline 740 models and the 750e xDrive plug-in hybrid remain available.

BMW is keeping the flagship sedan split between electric and combustion powertrains, preserving its luxury-market strategy.

Prices are rising only slightly as the company updates the lineup.
