The iPhone’s camera app is about to get a major overhaul and this could be our first peek at it

Bloomberg says Apple is planning a major iPhone Camera app redesign for iOS 27.

The new interface may add a dedicated Siri mode, alongside Photo and Video, plus a redesigned control layout and customizable shortcut widgets.

Apple is also expected to expand AI photo tools in the Photos app, including Reframe and Extend.

The changes could make camera features easier to use and push Siri and Apple Intelligence deeper into core workflows.
