Alibaba launches Qwen3.6-Plus, its third proprietary AI model in days

Alibaba has released Qwen3.6-Plus, its third proprietary AI model in a few days.

The model provides a one million token context window and is available via Alibaba Cloud Model Studio API.

Alibaba's benchmarks show Qwen3.6-Plus outperforms older Qwen3.5 and in some tests beats Claude 4.5 Opus, but Opus 4.6 scored higher on Terminal-Bench 2.0.

Alibaba says it will integrate Qwen3.6-Plus into its Qwen chatbot and the Wukong enterprise AI service.
