We built a fully client-side 3D Animation Studio on Next.js (Three.js + WASM Physics)

AnimaStage is a new browser-based 3D animation studio for MMD workflows, built entirely client-side on Next.js.

It uses Three.js and Ammo.js WASM for real-time physics and supports MMD assets like PMX, PMD, and VMD.

The studio includes live demos and MP4 export, aiming to make 3D staging easier without high-end hardware.

The creators plan to open-source more of the stack, which could broaden access for VTuber and Shorts-style creators.
