Gemini Voice Capabilities and Gemini Spark Coming to macOS This Summer

Google says its MacOS Gemini app will soon add voice control and the new Gemini Spark autonomous assistant.

At a live demo, the app used selected Finder files to draft an email and build a table from documents via spoken commands.

The features are slated for a summer rollout, expanding Gemini’s hands-free and document-processing abilities on desktop.

The update underscores Google’s push to make Gemini more useful on MacOS and more competitive with desktop assistants like Siri.
