iFixit Teardown Shows AirPods Max 2 Keeps Same Internal Design After Six Years

A teardown found the AirPods Max 2 keeps almost the same internal design as the 2020 model.

The main hardware change is the switch from the H1 chip to the H2 chip, adding adaptive audio and improved noise removal.

Condensation inside earcups and overall repairability were not addressed, and Apple does not provide official repair parts or manuals.
