Without Left 4 Dead 3, modders have turned Team Fortress 2 into COD Zombies

Breadworks has announced Mann Versus Zombies, a total-conversion mod that turns Team Fortress 2 into an endless zombie survival game.

The mod adds weapon upgrades, perks, custom maps, and support for solo play or up to 8-player co-op.

It will launch on Steam and support Steam Workshop, giving TF2 fans a community-driven zombie-co-op mode.

The project taps into demand for a Valve-style zombie experience, echoing Call of Duty Zombies and Left 4 Dead-style co-op.
