iOS 18.7.7—All iPhone Users Suddenly Given New Upgrade Choice

Apple has released iOS 18.7.7 to all iPhones, including devices eligible for iOS 26.

The update patches the DarkSword exploit chain that targets iOS 18.4–18.7 using six vulnerabilities.

Google reported DarkSword activity since November 2025 and said multiple actors used the kit.

U.S. CISA warned after a public release of DarkSword code, and users are advised to update via Settings.
