Instagram launches paid version for ¥319/month including Stories extensions

Instagram Plus is a paid test plan available in several countries including Japan; price in Japan is 319 yen.

It allows Stories to remain visible beyond the normal 24‑hour period.

Paid-only features include creating audience lists beyond Close Friends and a once‑per‑week option to boost Story visibility.

Subscribers can see total replay views and total viewers, search Story viewers without scrolling, and preview others' Stories without notifying them.

The plan also enables sending animated 'Super Like' reactions on others' Stories.
