Seven mobile battery companies and eight telecom companies sign partnership agreement to secure power during large-scale disasters, speeding up equipment provision to shelters and other facilities

Seven mobile battery makers and eight telecom operators have signed a partnership to speed up power supply support during major disasters.

When a disaster strikes, equipment will be centralized at telecom hubs and delivered to shelters and other relief sites.

The agreement aims to organize charging-device logistics in advance so evacuees can secure phone power sooner.

Joint drills and broader participation from more companies are also planned, with operations starting June 1.
