Microsoft's most powerful Surface Laptop ever arrives with a major new feature: it bets on an NVIDIA ARM chip

Microsoft unveiled the Surface Laptop Ultra, a new high-end Surface laptop aimed at demanding creative and professional workloads.

It pairs an ARM-based NVIDIA RTX Spark chip with up to 128 GB of unified memory, Blackwell RTX graphics, and features for local AI and pro software.

Microsoft did not share the price, launch date, exact processor, or battery life, saying the device is still preliminary and subject to certification.

The move is meant to make Windows on ARM more competitive by combining efficiency, NVIDIA graphics, AI acceleration, and broader software support.
