Plex triples the cost of its lifetime pass

Plex will raise the price of its Lifetime Pass from $249.99 to $749.99 on July 1.

The one-time premium tier had already jumped from $119.99 to $249.99 about a year ago.

The steep increase makes Plex’s lifetime option much less attractive for new buyers.

Users may rush to buy before the hike or consider cheaper alternatives like Jellyfin.
