legalize-es has converted more than 8,600 Spanish national and regional laws into Markdown files in a GitHub repository.

The laws are organized by jurisdiction, and amendments are tracked as Git commits so users can inspect text, metadata, and revision history.

The project makes Spain’s legal corpus easier to search, read, and audit, while preserving a detailed change trail.

That could be useful for legal-tech tools, compliance workflows, and broader open-data access.
