Sega Has Officially Cancelled Its "Super Game"

Sega Sammy has cancelled its planned “Super Game” project with no additional cancellation costs.

The company said weak performance in its free-to-play and games-as-a-service business drove the decision.

More than 100 employees will be shifted into full game development, while F2P work is deprioritized.

Sega still plans to revive classic franchises such as Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio.
