Framework’s Laptop 13 Pro earned strong marks for its modular, repairable design, solid build, bright touchscreen, haptic trackpad, and good battery life.

The new model also delivers strong performance, including Intel Panther Lake options, while keeping the user-upgradeable approach Framework is known for.

But rising RAM prices, especially for LPCAMM2 memory, pushed the Windows prebuilt configuration from $2,299 to $3,099 before sales.

The price jump shows how memory inflation can sharply raise costs even for a premium laptop built around modularity and repairability.
