I built a screen time blocker that has no account, no server, and no idea who you are

A developer built SproutGuard, an iOS screen time blocker that runs entirely on-device with no account or backend.

It uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs, including FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity, to block selected apps and websites.

The project highlights that privacy-preserving digital wellbeing tools can work without collecting user data or depending on cloud infrastructure.

It challenges the assumption that app-blocking products need servers to enforce limits or sync settings.
