Huawei-Backed AITO M9 2026 Model Spotted Ahead of Launch

Huawei announced at its TECH Cares Forum in Barcelona that it has connected 170 million people in remote areas across more than 80 countries.

The company said this outcome exceeds its 2022 ITU P2C pledge to connect 120 million people by 2025.

Huawei highlighted programs such as Skills on Wheels and RuralCow, launched in November 2025, as contributors to rural connectivity.

Forum participants including governments, operators and international bodies agreed on the need for joint action to advance digital inclusion in the AI era.
