The Witcher 3 is getting a third expansion in 2027, but the minimum specs are increasing

CD Projekt says The Witcher 3 will get a third expansion, Songs of the Past, planned for 2027.

The expansion is being co-developed with Fool's Theory, extending Geralt’s story well after the game’s original release.

At the same time, the studio will raise minimum PC requirements to Windows 11, DirectX 12, SSD storage, and newer CPU/GPU hardware.

The update will affect how existing players run the game and helps bridge The Witcher 3 into The Witcher 4.
